Brian received his training in the Machine Tool Technology Program at the Tennessee Technology Center at Nashville, graduating in 2004.
From 2003 to 2005, Brian worked at Precision Castings of TN, starting out as a grinder, then moving to the pouring crew, before moving into the machine shop
From 2005 to 2006, Brian served as a consultant on the restoration of a 1948 Tucker which previously belonged to George Lucas.
In 2006, Brian ran Acme screw machines at Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, before moving on to Betty Machine in late 2007.
Brian has restored a 1965 Ford Ranchero (which had a '72 302 shoehorned under the hood) and has been known to cast metal using little more than a blow torch and a soup ladle, when the mood strikes him.
More than anyone should probably have! In addition to doing MachineCast, Brian is working on building a steam powered car, and hopes to live in a steampunk style house, one day.
